5/31/2023 THE DELEGATION OF OSH STATE UNIVERSITY VISITED KAZNU

The delegation of Osh State University headed by Rector Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich Kozhobekov visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The guests visited the Al-Farabi Museum, the Keremet Student Service Center, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and the Higher School of Economics and Business.
5/31/2023 THE WINNERS OF THE XII SUMMER UNIVERSIADE WERE AWARDED TO THE TREASURY

The winners of the XII Summer Universiade were awarded at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. These days Aktau hosts the Summer Universiade of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The national team of KazNU in table tennis successfully started and won prizes.

Professor of Hankuk University of Foreign Languages (Republic of Korea), Secretary General of the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN), Dr. Hwang Sungdon held a guest lecture for students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the presentation of the photo album "Kazakh Literature: Photo Chronicle of 1920-1970" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Central State Archive of Film, Photographic Documents and Sound Recordings.
5/30/2023 KAZNU HOSTED A CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF PROFESSOR TALAS OMARBEKOV

 Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a conference "Fate Intertwined with History" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the famous scientist-historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Talas Omarbekov and the memory of the victims of repression.

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received Askar Aituov, Developer Relations Coordinator for Google Developers & Google for Startups in Central Asia and Mongolia.  
5/29/2023 STUDENT OF KAZNU TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Aida Begaidarova, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Information Technology of KazNU, took the first place in the international competition "Huawei ICT COMPETITION 2022-2023 Global Final ", which was held in Shenzhen (China).
