On the eve of the Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, a delegation of al-Farabi KazNU led by rector academician G.Mutanov visited the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation. Here, on the ancient routes of the Silk Road, from 1911 to 1915, the first Kazakh magazine "AIKAP" was printed. The city of Troitsk, known for its architecture as a transit trade center, the homeland of the fair with the same name (in the Kazakh language - the Maginay or Mandai Bazaar) and the famous madrasah, the people of Kazakhstan warmly welcomed.

At the reception in the municipality of Troitsk, the rector of KazNU dwelled on the tasks of the Chelyabinsk forum / for the first time 130 universities of Russia and Kazakhstan participate in solving vital tasks of higher education, including academic mobility and spiritual modernization.

In this regard, a significant date - the 145th anniversary of the enlightener, editor, journalist M. Seralin, combined with the logistics of the Forum. The creation of M. Seralin - "AIKAP", which is now being revived based on al-Farabi KazNU, is a spiritual bridge between the peoples of Kazakhstan, Russia and Central Asia.

The head of Troitsk supported the idea of ​​the synergy of university cooperation, noted the successes of Independent Kazakhstan. During the visit to the South Urals State Agrarian University, the largest collection of anatomical artifacts was shown; here students of veterinary specialty are trained, including from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The sphere of education in the region is of great importance, for a long time sources of education (madrassas) have been created.

Every year there are “Readings by Rasuliyev”, scientists from far abroad. During the visit, al-Farabi KazNU received an official invitation.

Rector of KazNU presented a portrait of M. Seralin and a thematic triptych from the history of the magazine "AIKAP", books, volumes of the modern magazine "AIKAP". This gratefully received by the city administration, the leadership of the local history museum of Troitsk and the diaspora.

Learning about the arrival of the delegation of the University, activists from cultural centers came to Troitsk from different parts of the region.
The improvised musical concert of the vocal group of the Troitsk “Ak Jaiyk” and students from Kazakhstan caused a flurry of applause.

Al-Farabi KazNU actively develops the traditions of modernization of public consciousness, outlined more than a hundred years ago by Alash.
