SAKURA SCIENCE PLAN Scientific training program at the University of Tsukuba 

 

At the end of August the associate professor Akhapov EA. and students of his laboratory of the Far East department of the Oriental Studies faculty has successfully achieved the course of Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (SAKURA Exchange Program in science) administrated by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) at the University of Tsukuba. 

University of Tsukuba (Tsukuba city, Japan) is the main strategic partner of the Oriental Studies faculty of al-Farabi KazNU, and takes an active part in the training of personnel for the oriental studies of our country.

The program of scientific internship was intended for leading students and young scientists as an introduction to scientific achievements on the research topic. The guests got acquainted with the results of scientific work and projects of the leading experts and university professors, and deepen the scientific links between researchers on the research topic.

During the internship, teachers and students visited the leading laboratories of Tsukuba University, got acquainted with the advanced scientific and technical developments of Tsukuba Science City in Japan.
