International Symposium "Chinese Studies and Modern China 2018”

At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nabizhan Mukhametkhanuly took part in the international symposium "Chinese Studies and Modern China 2018" in Beijing. The scientist made a report on the topic “The Development of Capacity Cooperation in Kazakhstan and China”. Participants in the symposium included 11 Chinese scholars and 28 Sinologists from 24 countries. Representatives of the “Young Sinologist” were also invited to participate in the event, including Serikkalieva Azhar Yermekovna of Department of Chinese Studies. The seminar was opened by Paul Gilmore Clifford, a professor at Harvard University in the USA.
