Representatives of QS in KazNU

Rector of KazNU Galym Mutanov and representatives of the «QS World University Rankings» discussed the preparations for the World Forum and the International Exhibition of Universities in Al-Farabi KazNU in September 2019.

Welcoming the guests, Rector of KazNU highlighted that the rating of universities of the International Agency «Quacquarelli Symonds» (QS) is one of the most authoritative and recognized in the world. «Your visit and evaluation of our work are important to us. KazNU expands geography of its international cooperation, strengthens ties with partner universities, implements joint educational and research programs. KazNU is purposefully working to advance in the international QS rankings and aims to enter the top 200 best universities in the world», – Rector said. He also acquainted the guests with new model of the University 4.0, which is being implemented in KazNU, and based on a symbiosis of innovative-technological and spiritual-moral platforms.

QS General Manager Simon Yeo thanked for the warm welcome and congratulated the University, which was entrusted to host the international QS Forum and the Exhibition of leading universities of the world. This is a great achievement not only of KazNU, but of the whole Kazakhstan. «University has a great scientific and educational potential, a great campus and necessary infrastructure. I am confident that by joint efforts we can organize and hold these important events at a high level»,– said Simon Yeo.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a joint work plan and a number of organizational issues related to the upcoming Forum and Exhibition.
