On September, 30th, 2014 within the celebrating of 80-years anniversary of KazNU and university's weeks "Festival of languages" the Department of Kazakh Literature's History and Theorytogether with the Department of Kazakh linguisticshas been organized holiday evening "Basis of unity is language".

An international round table dedicated to the International day of fight for the nuclear weapon liquidation and the 23^rd anniversary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s decree on closing of nuclear testing ground in Semipalatinsk was held on the 26 of September on the faculty of international relations together with social charity fund “Polygon – August 29”, UN informational bureau in Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative office in Almaty and CICA Secretariat.

On September 29, 2014 at 10.00 o'clock in a conference hall of Institute of Philosophy, political science and religious studies of KN of MES of RK together with "the Kazakhstan Philosophical Congress" (KFK) were carried out by a round table on the subject "Kazakhstan Philosophical Congress a Year Later". It was discussed results of work of KFK for the expired period. The institute of Philosophy, political science and religious studies of KN of MES RK is the leading scientific center in the field of social and humanitarian researches in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Philosophical Congress acted as the initiator of creation of Public association. Also here it was presented books, monographs and scientific works of professor T.Kh.Gabitov.

September 26 at the hostel №9 Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, with 3rd year students of specialty "Social pedagogy and self-cognition" was open curatorial hour on "Native language - my support." The purpose of the event - raising the prestige of the state language, as well as instilling students respecting the mother tongue. Organizer of the open event is curator-adviser Shagyrbaeva M.D.

Head of the department Philosophy, doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Nurysheva G. on September, 25-26, 2014 took part in the International symposium "Culture-Art and Art Education in the Geography of Turkic Languages" taking place in Erzincan University of Turkey. Her lecture on a theme «Verbal-Discoursive and Philosophical Substance of Intellectual Culture of Kazakhs»was warm accepted by the participants of symposium and marked a certificate.

On 25of September, 2014 "Language as National Treasure" named event was organized by staffand2nd year students of the Department of General and Ethnic Psychology.Head of the Department candidate of psychological science, associate professor Kalymbetova E.K.,Vice-chair of the DepartmentBaymoldina L.O., Vice-Dean on Scientific and Innovational Serviceof the Department Zholdasova M.K., as well as curator-advisers Liyasova A.A. and Sadykova N.M.have been participated on this event. Also, there were several reports on the theme “Language as my support” andinteresting games according to the aim of the event.

In 22^nd of September The Faculty of Oriental Studies and The Department of Arabic and Iranian Studies organized a theatrical performance.

The traditional student’s climbing of the Department of Recreation Geography and Tourism devoted to World Tourism Day will be on October 5, 2014. Gathering at 7:30 at the bus stop # 12 (former # 6) (Corner of Dostyk Av., Abaya Av., in front of the hotel "Kazakhstan").

On September, 25th, 2014 within a traditional holiday of languages curators of the Department of Kazakh Literature's history and theory had been organized competition of young orators "Oratory - abundance of language".

There was held an event “I love my mother language” devoted to Languages Holiday organized by students and advisors of 1^st year “Religious Studies” and “Cultural Studies” at the Assembly Hall of Faculty of Philosophy and Political science where the students and professors have participated. The event was warm greeted by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Zhakhan Moldabekov. Also Chair of Department of Religious and Cultural studies Doctor of Philosophy, Professor A.Kurmanaliyeva congratulated with Holiday and emphasized the role of patriotic act “Mangilik el” (Eternal nation). The 1^st course students danced, sang the patriotic songs, read poetry written by them. Also the organizers held a contest on knowledge of Kazakh proverbs, where the winners were awarded with gifts. After everybody have enjoyed with jokes of “Just FPPs” team consisted from cheerful 1^st course students.

Department of Recreation Geography and Tourism, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences on 26-th of September, 2014 invites everyone to traditional meeting devoted to World Tourism Day.

An educational event dedicated to the Day family. September 23, 2014, at 11.15 o'clock at the Faculty of philosophy and political science under the direction of curator-adviser of the Department of General and ethnic pedagogy Mamytbekova, a 4th year students of the specialty "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" was held an educational event on the theme "the Family is the key to happiness". Assets of the group are prepared and performed a song about family, lit candles, symbolizing warmth, hearth, and also used handouts - poems about family.

Department of «Religion and cultural Studies» have got the state license for training new specialty - "Islamtanu" ("Islamic Studies") for the 2013-2014 academic year, all documents are ready for the opening of this specialty. On September 2^nd, 2014 the leadership lecture "Intellectual youth is the future of the nation" was delivered at Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU devoted for 1^st course students. The lecture was given by the laureate of the prize of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of Journalists Union awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic prize Nur-Sunkar, a prominent worker of culture of Kazakhstan, the leading social talk show "Aituga onai" on the channel "Kazakhstan" Beisen Kuranbek.
