  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to develop the ability of a master's student to analyze and evaluate non-communicable diseases( NCDS), injuries, natural disasters and conflict situations that affect health, various factors that affect NCDS, injuries and preventive measures, ways to reduce the negative impact of NCDS and injuries, strategies and interventions. The discipline studies epidemiological, etiological, pathophysiological and clinical features, risk assessment and prevention of some important chronic diseases: cardiovascular, oncological and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.

Epidemiology of infectious diseases

The discipline studies epidemiological, laboratory and clinical Biosafety and biosecurity, features of safe work of an epidemiologist, doctors and nurses, laboratory specialists, stages of laboratory and etiological diagnostics, the significance of each stage and the impact of mistakes made at different stages on the result, principles of quality control of laboratory studies, interpretation of the results of laboratory and etiological studies.

The discipline studies epidemiological studies, strategies for assessing the impact and use of biomarkers, exposure to harmful and toxic substances, environmental harm and climate change, and prevention programs.

Genetic and nutritional epidemiology

Management of anti-epidemic measures in emergency situations
