MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

LO1 – to select and apply quantitative analysis and modeling methods for making management decisions and develop economic, organizational and managerial models; to select mathematical models depending on the overall organizational system of the enterprise, to analyze their compliance, to relate the applied models to the specific tasks of logistics management;

LO2 – to collect and to process information using innovative methods and tools in global computer networks and corporate information base systems for creating and maintaining databases on various indicators of the functioning of organizations; to use software and applications for analysis and quantitative modeling of management systems; to model business processes; to apply reorganization techniques in business process management;

LO3 – to apply basic motivation, leadership and power theories for management decision making; to choose practical ways to resolve conflict situations; to use modern project management software and its realization;

LO4 – to develop optimal implementation plan of marketing research and activities aimed at the implementation of the logistics strategy of organizations, to participate in its development; apply the results of marketing research for the organization of rational distribution of goods;

LO5 - to form and simulate enterprise logistics systems in international logistics activities; perform management tasks related to operations in world markets in the context of globalized logistics;

LO6 - to analyze the main motives of state regulatory bodies and their decision-making mechanisms; to investigate the behavior of consumers of economic benefits and generate demand; to conduct an accurate analysis of the competitive environment of the industry;

LO7 – to determine the best methods for making strategic, tactical and operational decisions in the management of the operational (production) activities of organizations; to analyze and evaluate specific risks; to find and process new market opportunities and formulate a business idea; to develop business plans for the creation and development of new systems of logistics organizations;

LO8 - to determine the main methods of financial management for the valuation of assets, working capital management, decision-making on the financing of logistics operations; to evaluate the optimality of the application of various accounting systems and distribution of logistics costs;

LO9 – to organize and manage basic warehouse and transport processes and operations, optimally manage stocks of finished products in the supply chain; to provide the operating department with the timely implementation of the unloading / loading of cargo; to coordinate and manage warehouse personnel, effectively control cargo loss / damage in accordance with established standards when purchasing, storing, transporting and distributing cargo;

LO10 – to identify and fulfill the tasks of optimal and integrated flow process management in important logistics areas and supply chain links; to develop and implement programs and projects for the development of logistics infrastructure, evaluate investment decisions on it in terms of their impact on capitalization and organizational efficiency

LO11 – to know the interpretation of legislative acts in the logistics field in the Republic of Kazakhstan; to organize an operational and high-quality service within the framework of contractual conditions and customs legislation; to perform work on customs clearance of goods; to maintain effective cooperation with the departments of the customs authorities that carry out customs clearance of goods in accordance with current legislation;

LO12 – to analyze information from various sources; to build corporate culture in teamwork; to use the data of related sciences: sociology, economics, law, psychology for their professional purposes; to take into account sociocultural differences between people in their professional activities; to quickly adapt to unusual situations that inevitably happen at work; to independently study the use of innovative information technologies.
