Meeting with the delegation of Lithuania

The first Vice rector of KazNU Mukhambetkali Burkitbayev has met Vidmantas Butkus the Vice-rector of University of Aleksandras Stulginskis (Lithuania).

The meeting was attended by representatives of University of Aleksandras Stulginskis: Director of the international Department Minvydas Liegus, Director of the Institute of water resources engineering, faculty of water and land management Avrigus Povilaitis, Deputy Dean of the faculty of agronomy of Cestius Romaneckas, Professor of the faculty of Economics and management Jonas Caplikas.

Opening the meeting first Vice-rector Mukhambetkali Burkitbaev told about the activities of the University, noting that KazNU has moved from the classical models of University to the modern research University. He also spoke about "Еrasmus+" program , which provides a cultural experience abroad to undergraduates and doctoral students of al-Farabi KazNU.

The parties discussed further cooperation and the exchange of students and teachers within the framework of academic cooperation. During the meeting, the delegation visited the Museum of al-Farabi KazNU.
