A guest lecture on “Japanese culture”

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor of the University of Kochi (Japan), Mr. Inoue provided a guest lecture for students of the Far East Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies. 

During the lecture, the students learned a lot about Japan, the country's culture, sights and got acquainted with the features of life and cities of Japan. Professor Inoue also talked about some climatic and landscape features of the country, and a lot about the Japanese cuisine and historical monuments. 

Students learned about the most visited tourist places in Japan, compared the structure of education in Japan and Kazakhstan, and were also informed about the opportunities for studying in Japanese universities through student exchange programs. One of these universities is the Kochi University, with whom an agreement for further cooperation was signed this year.
