KAZNU SCIENTISTS EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE WITH POLISH HISTORIANS

Associate professors of the Faculty of History of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Gulbanu Zhugenbayev and Akmaral Iskak completed an internship in the framework of the Erasmus+ program at the University of Siedlce of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Poland).


As part of the internship, KazNU teachers attended a reception with the Rector of the University, Minkin Miroslav, and exchanged views on the exchange of experience, obtaining double diplomas and conducting joint scientific research.


Meetings with Polish students – future historians were also organized for the guests of the university. KazNU teachers gave special lectures on the topic: "The history of Poles in the archives of Kazakhstan", "The activities of Mustafa Shok in emigration and documents in the archives of Poland", "The Polish Diaspora in Kazakhstan, and the modern potential of its development", "Scientific and educational status and potential of the Kazakh National University", and also told in detail about the history Kazakhstan, achievements and structure of KazNU, scientific potential.


KazNU professors got acquainted with the library fund, the structure and material and technical base of the University of Siedlce, pedagogical and scientific achievements of teachers. They also visited the Central State Archive and the main museum of the city, where they exchanged experiences on the introduction of information technologies in archival activities.
In addition, during the visit, the issues of the planned work with the Director of the Consulate of Kazakhstan in Gdansk, Ms. Joanna Nasyrov, and the conclusion of a contract with the University of Gdansk, the implementation of double-degree education programs were worked out. It was also agreed that the discussion of the directions of mutually beneficial cooperation between the scientists of the universities of the two countries will continue in the online format.
