As a result of given program undergraduates possess the following competencies:
ON1) ability to use the basic modern Oriental concepts to explain the phenomena and processes occurring in the countries of the East;
ON2) ability to prepare analytical reviews of the relevant literature in the field of Oriental Studies, and information materials on the studied regions;
ON3) capability for identifying the specifics and characteristics of the socio-economic, political, cultural development of the countries of the East;
ON4) capability for using effectively the language skills and knowledge in communication, and applying the basic methods of translation;
ON5) skills to systematize and compile standard diplomatic documents, draft agreements, contracts, programs of activities in foreign (eastern/ western) language;
ON6) ability to collect information from encyclopedic and specialized literature in foreign languages and interpret them;
ON7 capability for organizing and implementing the preparation and realisation of social and cultural projects and programs ensured by government bodies, public organizations, commercial structures that fulfill relations with the Eastern countries;
ON8) capability for comparing and applying scientific approaches, concepts and methods developed in the framework of Oriental Studies for professional activities;
ON9) aboloty to create scientific essays, abstracts, reviews, annotations based on the interpretation and categorization of facts and phenomena;

  • Description - The goal of the discipline is to form the ability to analyze the cultural and socio-economic situation of the countries of the East to determine the features of the political and civilizational development of the Eastern world. The discipline is aimed at studying: the history of the formation of mankind and primitive societies; education and development of medieval eastern states; features of large centers of ancient Eastern civilization; specific facts of the political, socio-economic and cultural history of the countries of the East.

  • Description - The goal of the discipline is to be able to conduct a conversation and make detailed messages on various topics within the studied topics and to present your view of the world around you; freely use dictionaries when reading and translating non-adapted texts of average difficulty.   • Description - The main purpose of "Professional (industrial) practice" is The study of the production and economic activity of the enterprise; studying the technology of production of electrical and thermal energy, the characteristics of individual technological processes; study of safety rules, labor protection and industrial hygiene in the operation of equipment, obtaining skills and practical experience of independent engineering work; carrying out measurements, drawing up descriptions of the conducted research, preparation of data for the compilation of surveys, reports and scientific publications.
