MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

Upon completion of this program, doctoral students are expected to be able to:
ON1 to conduct scientific research of ethnosocial and ethno-cultural development of the peoples of the world in cooperation with socio-political and economic processes on the basis of comparative analysis of modern achievements of Ethnology
ON2 to organize and conduct research expeditions and field trips on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad on the profile of the work; to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge into the research process on the problems of archeology and Ethnology in order to describe and analyze modern research approaches
ON3 conduct archaeological and ethnological monitoring in the regions of Kazakhstan, organize and conduct exhibitions, seminars, conferences; make expert conclusions on scientific projects and scientific reports on archaeological and ethnographic research
ON4 to carry out educational activities on programs of ethnographic education, Museum work; to create audio and video materials for scientific and educational purposes; to present the results of educational and research activities in the form of scientific reports, abstracts
ON5 develop scientific forecasts and conduct expertise on the problems of history, culture, interethnic relations and archaeological material; critically evaluate the results of scientific research, modern theories, problems and approaches, new trends in the study of archeology and Ethnology
ON6 to design and implement a comprehensive archaeological and ethnographic research, including interdisciplinary, using a holistic system of scientific Outlook; to assess the validity of the methods used in scientific research

ON8 to improve the methods of field archaeological research, to introduce modern technologies of identification and examination of archaeological monuments, to realize the need to revise previously studied monuments in the context of the latest discoveries in archeology; to implement research work using GIS research methods.
ON9 to create an information base of archaeological research, digitization in the placement on the Internet; to develop information systems that integrate the results of field work and data on the most important ancient and medieval cultures in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan
ON10 to conduct interdisciplinary research, comprehensive study of archaeological materials in cooperation with scientific specialists of natural science and technology; to develop an original methodology for the study of archaeological sites and information support of research and analytical project activities on the basis of their own research;
ON11 develop historical and socio-political aspects in the activities of information and analytical centers, public, public institutions and organizations, media, institutions of historical and cultural tourism

As a result of mastering the course, students must: - demonstrate fundamental, systemic knowledge in the field of metadata management of electronic documents, computer equipment and information technologies in document management and archiving; - systematize and interpret the scientific concepts of “electronic document”, “metadata of electronic documents” with the aim of further applying these definitions when choosing initial theoretical positions; - systematize and analyze metadata standards and apply them in management information support; - generate international standards for office metadata as a special type of metadata. The study of the discipline will consider the following aspects: the role and necessity of metadata to ensure the preservation of electronic documents; general models of electronic document management; regulatory and methodological documents on the management of electronic documents metadata; different approaches to the composition and classification of electronic documents metadata.

As a result of mastering the course, students must: - demonstrate theoretical knowledge and skills of their practical application in the preparation of programs for the informatization of archives, the creation of information databases; - compare various information systems in archives, to apply knowledge in the development of documentary databases, document management systems; - formulate problems and tasks of automating archival affairs, automating document management processes in organizations.The discipline «Information systems in archival science and documentation» is intended for mastering the organization of the use of modern information technologies and identifying promising areas of informatization of preschool and archive management, methods for developing information databases, systematizing documents in them, hierarchy of information in the database and applying knowledge in developing document databases , document management systems.

During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».
