Will be studied: cognitive mechanisms of translation; cognitive and functional features of the original, lexical-semantic field expressing the concept and problems of translation; components of the semantic space of the original, cognitive-propositional structures of the text; basic concepts of the original and how to translate them.

Linguodidactic Aspects of Translation Studies

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline: the formation of skills in analyzing the specifics of poetic translation when translating a poem in compliance with the translator's poetic culture. Will be studied: the study of the specifics of the poetic text, figurative-semantic and lexical issues of poetic translation, the problems of equirhythmy and equilinearity;literary translations of Abay Kunanbayuly and translations of his works into other languages preservation of the national color and individual style of the work; national and cultural specificity and evaluation of the translation of a poetic text.
