Meeting with professor of the Polytechnic University David Lee.

Director of the Department of Chinese Language and Bilingualism at the Faculty of Humanities of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, David Lee met with Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University Paltore Y.M. and the Department of Chinese Studies. Director David Lee pointed to the three main objectives of his trip. He is primarily interested in studying the Chinese language in Central Asia and Kazakhstan by getting closer to the staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU, including the Department of Chinese Studies. The second goal is the promotion of the Language, Culture and Communication (BDLCC), Bachelors (BACBS / BAESP) and full scholarship programs for talented students attending our university. The third task is to prepare the conditions for the next trips scheduled for the spring of 2019.
The programs offered by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which were presented during the meeting interested researchers, students and doctoral students. At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
