Meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan

On November 13, 2018 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, at the organization of the Hindi and Urdu department, a meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi.

With Mr. Ambassador came guests from the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Almaty Basit Saleem Shah, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Pakistan Rafiq Muhammad.

At the meeting, teachers and students of the Department of Urdu and Hindi had the honor to listen to the opinion of Ambassador Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi on the current political situation in Central Asia, the achieved level of agreements between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, as well as trends in further cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the official visit to the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kazakhstan, Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi, visited the "Museum of the East of KazNU" and conducted an inspection of the scientific centers and libraries of the faculty.

In turn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic Pakistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi, thanked Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Y.M. Paltore for the warm welcome and noted that he was very pleased to meet and would be very pleased to support students.

Summing up the meeting, the Ambassador answered the students' questions and urged the youth to study, and expressed the hope that all graduates of the Urdu and Hindi department would become in-demand specialists and high-level professionals.
