QUALIFICATION

  • Scientific and pedagogical direction - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

1. Apply classical theories and independently propose new scientific ideas in public relations.
2. Practice the use of traditional and digital PR tools in the region and in the world on an ongoing basis.
3. Form the types of communications of state, commercial, public PR entities in information interaction.
4. Reproduce at abstract level a set of public relations and metacommunications to identify patterns of scientific direction, integrated industry and professional activity.
5. Plan, present, critically evaluate the results of scientific research in the framework of PR and metacommunication.
6. Activate digital technologies in PR, taking into account the development of the Internet, social networks, gadgets, artificial intelligence, SMM, blockchain, virtual and augmented reality.
7. Modify the components of PR tools and technologies, taking into account business goals, levels of crisis risks, force majeure situations.
8. Build research work to obtain and verify dissertation’s conclusions; implement the obtained results in the practice of supporting the image, reputation and brand.
9. Provide innovative support to public relations institutions in constantly changing conditions with the involvement of international experience of professional communities: IPRA, National Association on Public Relations (NAPR), Association of Public Relations Teachers (APRT) and others according to accepted criteria.
10. Conduct qualified lessons in higher education institutions using advanced teaching technologies, methods of acquisition and control of knowledge in the professional sphere, manage educational programs.
11. Publish the results of researches and experiments in international scientific journals, present them at international conferences, participate in scientific discussions.
12. Demonstrate leadership in team management, transfer skills to colleagues and subordinates, and strive for continuous professional growth in the field of public relations.

The course summarizes the constant application of the current range of classical and digital means of public relations. The course enhances the flexibility, self-development and practice of Kazakhstani PR based on the best world achievements.

Artificial Intelligence and Digital Architecture of PR in Kazakhstan

  • Description - The aim of the course is to develop the ability of PhD-students to create improved communication strategies on digital architecture through interaction with artificial intelligence. Preventive Communications of Information Crises

The subject formulates requirements for forecasting information crises, taking into account the mission, business goals, and force majeure situations. The course differentiates risks, comparing the shortcomings of image, reputation and information protection, the potential impact of public assessment on the position and success of state, commercial and public structures.

Theoretical Concepts of PR and Metacommunication

Miller for further progress in the theoretical understanding of public relations in Kazakhstan and the Asian region.
