About the program
Preparation of a competitive, qualified dermatologist-venereologist with professional knowledge and skills in diagnosing and treating patients in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine, the application of modern medical technologies, capable of organizing effective preventive measures and providing high-level assistance to patients with dermatovenereological profiles, generating new knowledge in the field of healthcare to improve medical care.
Graduate model
Upon completion of this program, it is expected that residents will be able to
1.Integrate knowledge and skills for the timely establishment of diagnosis and treatment plans, including the initiation of appropriate interventions in dermatological and infectious pathology and immunopathology based on obtaining, interpreting, analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing relevant clinical data, as well as synthesizing all information for making comprehensive and accurate clinical decisions.
2.Provide specialized medical care for dermatovenereological diseases to children and adults based on evidence-based practice, critical reflection on new information and care standards, assessing the effectiveness and safety of treatment and prevention methods.
3.Provide timely and effective specialized medical care in urgent and life-threatening conditions in dermatovenereological practice, including during epidemics, pandemics, emergencies, and natural and man-made disasters.
4.Effectively use communication skills to establish positive and trusting relationships with patients, children, and their families (or legal representatives) during the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, including emergency conditions, performing diagnostic procedures, and initiating appropriate interventions.
5.Use communication skills to effectively organize the work of an interdisciplinary/interprofessional team of specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes, respecting colleagues' opinions and supporting effective time management skills.
6.Apply legal knowledge in the field of health protection, safeguarding the rights of doctors and patients, following regulatory legal acts that define the activities of the infection service.
7.Use modern information-digital technologies and healthcare information systems to solve professional tasks, maintain medical records, and conduct scientific research to improve efficiency, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of medical care.
8.Conduct specific and non-specific preventive measures for dermatological diseases and sexually transmitted infections, sanitary-educational work, and promote a healthy lifestyle to strengthen the health of children and adults and overall population health.
9.Demonstrate and embody ethical standards, moral principles in all professional interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and society as a whole, exhibiting the responsible behavior expected of doctors.
10.Apply epidemiological approaches to determine the social determinants of health and ensure equity in providing medical care to all social groups.
11.Analyze and critically evaluate professional literature, formulate research questions, effectively use international databases in daily activities, participate in scientific research aimed at advancing knowledge in human health and improving quality of life.
