From April 23 to 30, 2023, professor of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Nabizhan Mukametkhanovich, as part of a delegation of leadership and a number of scientists of the R. B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies, visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan

Тhe head of the publishing house Zholdas Kenesuly, being a guest of the faculty, presented the following books printed by another publishing house for teachers and students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia: “Lessons of the Arabic language” (seven volumes), textbooks “Rules for writing Arabic letters”, “Introduction to morphology”.

Director of the Institute of Asian Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor of the Department of the Far East of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gera Nikolaevich Kim was awarded with the Order of Dostyk II degree for his service in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between people.

 April 26, 2023, at Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, the presentation of the book “Korneki Tazhuid” by Dr. Ayman Rushdi Sueid, translated into Kazakh by the teacher of the Department of MESA, director of the Center “Arabic Language” Erkinbek Shokay, was held

During the seminar, undergraduates presented their scientific work and made a report on the readiness of their work

 At the opening ceremony of the international seminar there was a presentation of the book "Indo-Kyrgyz Relations: Challenges and Opportunities". Saltanat Jakubayeva was a key speaker in the first session of "Eurasia in the Mirror of Central Asia"

On April 10, 2023, a charity fair was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, organized with the help of 1st and 2nd year students of the League of Volunteers

The main objective of this project is to hold a competition between faculties that have distinguished themselves in their cooking skills and creativity

On April 22, 2023, on the day of "Mother Earth", students and teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a clean-up on the university campus
