On November 9, 2022, at the Department of the Far East (Korean Studies), an event was held on the topic "Dialogue with senior students", aimed at first-year students.
From June to September 2022, an online Korean language course was held to improve the skills of teachers of the Korean language and literature of the Department of the Far East.

07.11.22 the Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted a charity fair ”Zhyly Zhurek“, organized by the Public Foundation”Komek".

On November 7, 2022, Kules Ainur, a 2nd-year master's student majoring in Oriental Studies, gave a scientific seminar. The topic of the seminar was "Formation and development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the financial sphere (1992-2022)", including interbank relations between the two countries.

From 31.10 to 05.11.2022, the director of the research center "Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage", associate professor Z. Shadkam, took part in the international forum "Central Asia - the center of Islamic art", held in Samarkand, and made a presentation on the topic "Problems of collecting, preservation and cataloging of handwritten books in Kazakhstan”.
