Under the leadership of the "Silk Road" circle, the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a round table meeting with the theme of "Chinese Families: An Overview of Chinese Families". 

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies, 4th-year student Jiao Leyao, who is major in Translation Studies participated in the forum "China-Central Asia Civic Friendship Forum: Education and Youth Exchange" held on September 27 in Xi'an, China.

On September 25-30, 2022, teachers of the Department of the Far East of the Japanese Studies Department Saudanbekova Sh.T., Nurelova A.M. We were on a foreign trip at the University of Sofia named after St. Clement of Okrid (Sofia, Bulgaria). 

On October 8, 2022, students of the law enforcement unit of the Faculty of Oriental Studies visited the fair of organizations of the Faculty of Information Technology for the purpose of self-presentation. 

On October 8, 2022, a large-scale university cleanup day was held on the territory of all educational buildings of Al-Farabi KazNU. 

On October 7, 2022, Tajik Language Day was held with the participation of teachers and students of the Department of Middle East and South Asia in order to get to know the Tajik language and culture more closely. 

On September 30, 2022, the "Welcome party" for first-year students was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies and "Silk Road" Research Center.
