Al-Farai Kazakh National University is proud of its head, Dr. Türksoy Egamberdievich Mirzakhan Sharipbaevich, thanks to whom many young specialists decide to devote themselves to scientific activity.

On April 20-22, 2022, the Republican subject Olympiad of the specialty "Oriental Studies" was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The international scientific conference of students and young scientists "The world of Farabi" was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from April 6 to 8, 2022.

Professor of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Lee Beng Jo was awarded the Certificate of Honor "For outstanding achievements in the field of education" from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Kim Bu Kyum. The ceremonial presentation of the certificate of honor took place during the award ceremony for the students of the fall semester of Korean language courses.

On December 8, 2021, in the city of Nur-Sultan, a seminar was held on the topic "Materials about Korea in Kazakh textbooks" with the participation of experts from two countries.

November 12, 2021 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies was a meeting with Professor of the Department of Fundamentals of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State University of Communications and undergraduates and doctoral students of the faculty.

In November 2021, the article "Orientalists have made a significant contribution to the formation of national diplomacy" was published by Professor-Orientalist of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Aldabek Nurzhamal Abdrazakovna

September 29, 2021 under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of the Far East, curator-adviser Tazabekva G.B. an online meeting "Acquaintance with 1st-year students of the Department of Japanese Studies" took place.

The language is the main symbol of the state, the basis of the country. It is not only a means of communication, connecting humanity, a carrier of thought and words, but also the core of the nation, the heritage of ancestors passed down from generation to generation. We appreciate and cherish this rich heritage. 

Every nation, people dreams and tries to be independent and fight for it by sacrificing themselves. This year will mark the thirtieth anniversary of country independence. Kazakhstan has become a secular country in its own right, having consolidated its borders. Thanks to the courage and heroism of the Kazakh youth, this independence became the fruit of a Great Victory. Thanks to the selfless spirit and courage of young people, we have become a state with great dreams and achievements.
