The Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated in an online format the birthday of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, one of the founders of Pakistan and the first Governor General of the country, one of the most active participants in the section of British India.
The event was opened by the dean of the faculty Paltore Yktiyar Moldatoruli. The event was attended by Muhammad Farouk, Trade and Investment Advisor for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Almaty, Habib ur Rahman, President of the KAZ-PAK Association, Rafik Muhammad, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Pakistan, as well as teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Language and Literature of Urdu.
Speaking at the event, the guests stressed that the name of Muhammad Ali Jinnah will forever remain in the hearts of the people of Pakistan and its place in history.
Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies recited patriotic poems in Urdu and talked about the life of the Father of the Nation.
We are confident that the opening of the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Center, which opened on July 9, 2019, will contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
