Held a seminar "Chinese dragons"

October 31, 2022 Academic club "Silk Road" on the basis of the Department of Sinology of Al-Farabi KazNU held a seminar on the topic "Chinese dragons: legends about dragons, symbols of dragons, images of dragons in life and symbolism of dragons in Sino-Kazakh or Sino-Russian legends". As part of this event, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sinology, PhD Saparbayeva N.B.  gave a lecture and further discussion on the topic "Chinese Dragons". The purpose of the event is to acquaint students with Chinese legends about dragons, discuss the role of the dragon as a symbol in Chinese society, and trace the stages of development of the image of the dragon in Chinese-Kazakh or Chinese-Russian legends. The seminar was attended by undergraduate and graduate students.
