At the Faculty of Oriental Studies was conducted contest reciting verses of Abay Kunanbayev in Kazakh and Arabic, within the project "100 books".

At the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a competition for reciting poems of Abay Kunanbayev in kazakh and arabic languages, organized by the Department of Arabic Studies and Iranian Studies . The event was held among the students of 1-3 courses in the framework of the "100 books that the student of KazNU must read ". Top readers were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes . First place - 3rd year student Sataeva Tansholpan , second place - 2nd year student - Kusainova Nasib , third place - 1st year student of Shaykh Nursultan .
