The Bulletin series of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are included in the "Emerging Sources Citation Index" within the Web of Sciencecore collection system. Nowadays the number of scientific journals indexed inthe database reaches 7, which is the highest indicator among HEI and Research Institutes in Kazakhstan.

The International Centre for the Rapprochement of Cultures under the auspices of UNESCO (Category II) in partnership with the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science andReligious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan within the frameworkof International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2013-2022) and practicalimplementation of UNESCO ideas on building societies of knowledge invites you to take part atthe III International Conference for a Culture of Knowledge on the theme “ScientificKnowledge and Challenges of the Historical Memory: Local and Universal”.

From September 12 to 16, 2022, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will host an orientation week (Postgraduate Orientation Week) for Master Students of the new intake.

From September 5 to 9, 2022, PhD Orientation Week was held for the 1^st year Doctoral students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The program of the Week was intense and included webinars on organizing the process of preparing PhD students at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, conducting research and publishing scientific articles in international journals.

September 9, 2022 at the Al-Farabi Library of KazNU will be held meeting with the National Coordinator of the Horizon Europe EU Framework Programme Kamila Magziyeva with a presentation on the topic: “Participation in the European Union Framework Program for Investment in Science and Innovation Horizon Europe”.

On August 24-25, 2022, in Nur-Sultan the Science and Higher Education Forum “Human capital is a key resource for the development of new Kazakhstan” was held in the base of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Astana IT University and Nazarbayev University.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy announces the holding of an open republican competition of scientific articles "Kazakhstan in the global world: ways to improve national competitiveness".
The competition is held from March 15 to June 30, 2021.
