Arba Ski Festival

On February 25, 2018 at the skiing and biathlon stadium "Alatau" (city of Talgar), students - members of the KazNU team for orienteering took part in the festival of ski sports - Arba Ski Festival.
A student of the 1st year of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology Aubakirov Rustam took second place at a distance of 5 km.
After the finish of the race, the students conducted a training session on orienteering in skiing at a distance of a given direction. The lesson was conducted with a view to preparing for the participation of our children in the VII Winter Universiade of the Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will be held from 1 to 12 March 2018, in Pavlodar.
