SELECTION CRITERIA FOR BACHELORATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

1. The pre-selection procedure for undergraduate educational programs consists of two stages:

- at the first stage, foreign applicants take testing in general education subjects on the platform https://online-test.kaznu.kz/;

- at the second stage, they undergo testing that determines the level of proficiency in the language of instruction on the platform https://online-test.kaznu.kz/.

Step 1) Go through the Registration process as an applicant on the website https://online-test.kaznu.kz/ according to the video instruction .mp4

Attention ! On the website, in the top panel, select the language that you indicated in your application, otherwise the test re sults will be invalid.

Step 2) Select the language of instruction that you indicated in the application when submitting documents to the university.

Step 3) According to the entrance exam schedule, you need to enter at the specified time and select a Major subject (see Profile subjects and passing test scores.pdf).

Step 4) Select the 1st stage of testing and score a threshold score of 13 out of 20 in core subjects.

Step 5) Select the 2nd stage of testing, which determines the level of proficiency in the language of instruction.

 To successfully pass testing with English as the language of instruction, you must correctly answer at least 21 questions out of 30, which is 70%.

 To successfully pass testing with Russian or Kazakh language of instruction, you need to correctly answer at least 15 questions out of 30, which is 50%.

Attention ! If the language of instruction is incorrectly selected at stage 2 of testing, the results are considered invalid.

Only 1 attempt is given to pass the test. Retaking the entrance exams is not permitted.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR MASTER'S AND DOCTORATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The pre-selection procedure for master's and doctoral programs consists of one stage, where foreign applicants undergo an interview (oral).

Step 1) Download the ZOOM application on your personal computer.

Step 2) Set up your microphone and webcam.

Step 3) According to the entrance exam schedule, enter via the specified link at the appointed time.

Step 4) Wait for the administrator to give access to the interview.

Attention! Foreign applicants who are not technically prepared for the interview, that is, they do not have a microphone and a webcam, are not allowed to attend the interview.
