About the chair

  By the order of the rector of the Kazakh National University No. 20 dated 10.02.2009 and the decision of the Academic Council of the University No. 4 dated 27.02.2009, the department was renamed the "Department of pre-university training" and began its work in a new direction. The main tasks of the Department of pre-university training:
- Preparation of students for training and comprehensive testing in higher educational institutions of the RK through an improved educational process;
- systematization of knowledge gained in the state language, acquisition of important concepts, replenishment of knowledge necessary for continuing education in higher educational institutions;
-formation of communicative competence of students in the Kazakh language in the professional-educational, social-household, cultural and socio-political spheres.
    The main purpose of the department is to prepare students for comprehensive testing. In particular, it conducts training in the main subjects of complex testing (reading literacy, mathematical literacy and history of Kazakhstan) and profile subjects (Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computer Science, World History, English).  In addition, it prepares foreign trainees for admission to the magistracy in organizations of postgraduate education.  The main directions of the Department's work are scientific, educational and methodological, and takes an active part in educational work.
