An online awards ceremony for the winners of the competition "The best teacher of the university-2020" was held at KazNU named after al-Farabi. The solemn event began with a speech by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimaganbetov. The Minister congratulated 150 winners of the competition from 46 universities of the republic, including 18 teachers of KazNU.

The Muhammad Ali Jinnah Center at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was officially opened on July 9, 2019 with the financial support of the KAZ-PAK Association.
