8/26/2019 AL-FARABI’S HOUSE OPENED IN DELHI

In order to implement the state program «Rukhani Zhangiru» and the main provisions of the article of the Leader of the nation N.A. Nazarbayev «Seven Faces of the Great Steppe», Al-Farabi Kazakh National University opened the House of Al-Farabi in Delhi. The project was implemented by KazNU with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in India.

8/25/2019 Training Course at the Central Hindi Institute in India

On July 15-26, 2019, the lecturers of the Department of Indian Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kanafeva Shynar, Turar Aidana, Ospan Nasym, Pernekulova Meruert received a two-week professional training course at the Central Institute of Hindi in India, organized by the Indian Embassy in Kazakhstan and the Swami Vivekananda Indian Cultural Centre.

8/23/2019 15th International Conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT-2019)

The 15th international conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT 2019) was held from August 19 to 23 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan). The conference is organized by the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics (Russian Academy of Sciences) every two years. This year partners of the conference are Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan), University of International Business (Kazakhstan), Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University. Conference materials are published in the Lecture Notes and Computer Science series, which are indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.

8/22/2019 The Persian language course has begun at the Faculty of Oriental Studies

The Iranian Studies Department of the Department of Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Saadi Foundation (IRI), with the support of the Cultural Representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan), began a continuing education course for teachers of Persian language and literature.

8/22/2019 The Book of Kazakhstani Scientist is Published in China

The book of the rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, academician Galym Mutanov, «Mathematical Methods and Models in Economic Planning, Management and Budgeting» was presented in Chinese at the world’s largest Beijing international book exhibition. The monograph was published in the leading publishing house of the PRC at Renmin University.

KazNU took part in the international forum of young scientists «Burabay Forum: International Cooperation of Kazakhstan», dedicated to the Year of Youth. The Forum was held for the third time and its organizer was the Foundation of the First President - Elbasy of the Republic of Kazakhstan .
