The international scientific-practical conference «Kazakhstan in a Multipolar World: Economic Scenarios» was held within the framework of the VI International Farabi Readings, and it was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Al-Farabi KazNU and the 70th anniversary of the Higher School of Economics and Business.

In Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from 27 to 29 March Department of Mechanics held the XI Republican student subject Olympiad in mechanics. Students of three universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the student subject Olympiad. Including, 23 students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 3 students from L.N. 

On April 12, 2019, Al-Farabi KazNU held the 3rd «Sarbaz» military-patriotic game for the Cup of the Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU that was organized on the eve of the Fatherland Defenders’ Day and the Great Victory Day, in accordance with the «Ruhani Zhangiru» National Program, in order to foster Kazakhstani patriotism among students and schoolchildren.

Master students of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (24 Master students in total) have completed overseas internships at the Technical University of Berlin (Berlin, Germany) under the International Space School program.

On April 12, 2019, Department of History, Archeology and Ethnology of Al-Farabi KazNU held a solemn opening of the Training and Production Department of «Archiving and Documentation» on the specialty «Archive, Documentation and Documentation Support» on the basis of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to implement the main directions and tasks specified in the «Archive-2025» program that is published under the article «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe» by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev.

On April 12, 2019, the contest «The Best Young Scientist of KazNU 2019» was held in the framework of the VI International Farabi Forum entitled «Al-Farabi and Modernity».

The «Farabi Alemi» International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students that took place within the framework of the VI International Farabi Readings of KazNU has finished its work. More than 6000 participants participated in its work, among them - speakers from the USA, Poland, Germany, Turkey, Japan, Korea, Estonia and the CIS countries.

The opening ceremony of the Microsoft IT Academy was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. The Ceremony was attended by the General Manager of Microsoft for the countries of the region of Central and Eastern Europe Anke den Auden and the first Vice-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Doctor of Chemistry, Professor Mukhambetli Burkitbayev.

On April 10, 2019, a Round Table entitled Actual Issues of Development of Geology and Mineralogy in Kazakhstan was held at Al-Farabi KazNU, which was organized by the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management of KazNU in the framework of the International Scientific Conference «VI International Farabi Readings».

Department of Religious and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU held an international scientific conference entitled «Symbols, Artifacts and Monuments of the Great Steppe» dedicated to the two-year anniversary of the President program «Spiritual Revival» within the framework of the VI International Farabi Readings.
