At the Academic Council of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the results of the implementation of the indicative plan by departments and faculties for the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year were announced. Gulsharat Mingazheva, Director of the Center for Strategic Development, told about this in detail. The results of the work of the Al-Farabi library and the republican contest "The Best University Instructor" in 2022 were also announced.

The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with the Consul General of Russia, Evgeniy Bobrov and the head of the Russian House in Almaty Tatyana Baryshnikova, dedicated to the International Book Donation Day. The event was organized by the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the results of the national rating of NCE "Atameken" in 2022, out of 64 educational programs (EP) submitted by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 50 EP entered the Тop-10 best. 

The founder of this movement (Brighten the corner where you are!) was Young-Sil Kim, the honorary president of Anyang University in Korea. His aim in launching this movement was to find a practical principle for building a society where all citizens can live a peaceful and happy life. He found the basic motto of “Brighten the corner where you are” movement in a Chinese book entitled Sega, the 46^th volume of Sagi (history):” Those who do their best and get best fruits of their labor are the very people to be highly valued in every society.”

The ideas of the circular economy began to occupy the minds of the scientific, state and business spheres of Kazakhstan quite actively. Today one can observe both an increase in the number of scientific publications and ongoing projects, as well as the first measures to integrate the ideas of the circular economy into the plans of local government bodies. 

The scientific conference "Television Management: Experience and Scientific Approach" dedicated to the 65^th anniversary of Kazakh television was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met the First Vice-President of the Université Le Havre Normandie (ULHN) Jean-Noel Castorio and Professor Pierre Chabal. At the meeting certain proposals on bilateral cooperation were discussed.
