The Department of Theory and Nuclear Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a leadership lecture on the topic "Prospects for the Construction of NPP in Kazakhstan" by Timur Miftakhuly Zhantikin, Director General of Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants.

A 2^nd year student of KazNU Al-Farabi Faculty of Law Serik Abdimazhit has won a bronze medal at the World Cadet, Youth and Junior Sambo Championship in Yerevan, Armenia.

Founder and CEO of QS Nunzio Quacquarelli visited the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and congratulated the staff of the university on their success. The KazNU has been included for the first time in the QS rating of the Asian region of universities and took 44^th place. Moreover, KazNU occupies the first position in the "QS Asia University Rankings 2023: Central Asia".

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Vice-Rector for International Relations and Programs of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics Neman Muradli. The parties discussed issues of further bilateral cooperation.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was included in the QS ranking of the Asian region of universities for the first time and took 44th place. KazNU is also recognized as the first university in Central Asia, taking 1st place in the rating "QS Asia University Rankings 2023: Central Asia". 

On November 3, 2022 an international conference dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the UNESCO UNITWIN/Chairs Programme on the topic “Transforming Knowledge for Fair and Sustainable Future” took place in Paris (France). The conference was attended by members of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Program, permanent Missions to UNESCO and National Commissions for UNESCO, universities and partner organizations.

From October 17 to November 22, the Al-Farabi KazNU hosts an autumn sports contest dedicated to the Republic Day. As part of the autumn Sports contest, on November 5, in Hall No. 1 of the Al-Farabi sports complex, a university-wide event "Relay Race" was held among students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, According to the conditions of the competition, the team should have 5 people or at least three girls.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the staff of Kazprom-Almaty and explained the election program to the staff, as part of the campaign work of the Almaty city public headquarters of the candidate for President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
