9/7/2022 WORKING SESSION OF RECTORS OF UNIVERSITIES WAS HELD AT KAZNU

The meeting was attended by rectors and representatives of the leadership of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan. Opening the meeting, Vice-Minister of Higher Education and Science Kuanysh Yergaliev outlined the problems, focusing on urgent solution of the lack of students’ accommodation. "Recently the President raised the issue of dormitories. This year, more than 600 thousand students are studying, more than 180 thousand of which gain knowledge in Almaty. Since many universities are located here, young people want to study in this city. And we must create all conditions so that students can comfortably live and study," Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education Kuanysh Yergaliyev stressed.


9/6/2022 DR. SAPARBAYEV: HEAD OF THE DNA REPAIR GROUP AT GUSTAVE ROUSSY INSTITUTE

The innovative potential of national economy can be increased through effective scientific and innovative system, the basis of which will be powerful research universities and innovation clusters. Developing this strategic concept, the head of State K.J. Tokayev set the goal of forming science and education as separate branches of the economy. Further integration into the international scientific community and internationalization of scientific research activity is one of the priorities of the university. One of the invited scientists to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Murat Kaliyevich Saparbayev is an international professor at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris.


9/3/2022 THE NEWS OF TURKOLOGY WERE DISCUSSED AT KAZNU

A scientific and theoretical round table "The Inscription of Kutlyk Kagan is a discovery of the century" was held at the Al–Farabi Kazakh National University with the participation of members of the expedition: researcher of the International Turkic Academy Napil Bazilkhan and leading researcher of the Institute of Historical Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia Altangereliin Enkhtur.

 


9/1/2022 STAFF OF KAZNU LISTENED TO THE PRESIDENT KASSYM-JOMART TOKAYEV'S STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

The staff and students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University listened with great interest to the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev' s State of the Nation Address. The President's speech was broadcast simultaneously from three points of the campus and conference halls of 16 faculties.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has opened its doors to students. On the Day of Knowledge, well-known scientists-professors shared their experience and held leadership lectures at all faculties for 1st-year students.

Doszhan Nursultan Saginayevich, senior lecturer of the Department of mechanics, Faculty of mechanics and mathematics of Al-Farabi KazNU, took part in a seminar on the methods of space engineering education at the Tokyo Kenshu center and Nihon University in Tokyo, Japan from August 18 to 31, 2022.
