Olympiad on Korean studies

Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in international Olympiad on Korean studies. It was attended by 60 students.

As a result our students from the Faculty of Oriental studies won medal positions: on specialty “Foreign Philology” Aidana Zhumagalieva took the 2^nd place, on “Translation studies” Roza Ulan took the 2^nd place, Ainur Duisenbek – 3^rd place, in category “Foreign language” AliyaTurarbek came 2^nd.

The winners were awarded by certificates and prizes in cash. As usually, students of the Department of the Far East demonstrated high level of knowledge in the field of Korean studies, thereby they defended the honor and name of the National University. This achievement was served as a good example for all Korean scholars-participants.
