“Tarzhiman” youth translators’ club’s meeting was held in philology department on October 21st for the first time in current academic year.

It was not a usual meeting session of club members but a celebration of freshmen commencement or better to say, recruits commencement to translators. The celebration went under control of “Artistic translation theory and literary art” chairmen and club leaders –Musaly L.Zh. and Tusupova A.K.

There were about 30 people – students and 3rd and 4th year faculty members, who came to congratulate young translators. The event has started with junior students’ number. Young ladies read poems, played interesting games with the audience, sang, danced and gave their wishes to freshmen.Our sophomore students proudly showed what they can do too. They have presented several games in English. Nobody could disagree with high language knowledge level and smartness of 2nd year students. They respectfully gave a speech to faculty and finished their number with a song and gave best wishes to a next generation.

Seniors (4th year students) took place on stage next. They have talked about “Tarzhiman” club’s name meaning and presented club’s hymn to guests.

Freshmen students had a worthy presentation too, introducing themselves in different languages – starting with English and finishing with French and Italian.

The brightest number of the event was a performance of Kazakh department student Amantai Aidos who came from China. He has amazed people with his wonderful singing in English and Kazakh and performance abilities on stage.Official part of the meeting covered the club’s rolls award to freshmen that confirm their “Tarzhiman” club’s membership.Faculty is looking forward for a next event.

The event has been finished with warm wishes, endless gratitude words, presents and tasty sweets.
