Visit of Lithuanian Professors on ERASMUS + Program

Professors Dr. Edgar Sokolovskij and Dr. Jonas Matijošius from Vilnius Technical University Gediminas (Lithuania) visited the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi KazNU within the ERASMUS + program.

The purpose of the visit is the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of Mechanics. Scientists gave lectures for students and teachers of the Department of Mechanics on the topics entitled «Road Traffic Accidents Examination» (Professor Dr. Edgar Sokolovskij) and «Biofuels for Transport Systems» (Professor Dr. Jonas Matijoius).

During the visit, a Round Table was held with participation of the academic staff of the Department, at which the prospects for further cooperation in the field of Mechanics as well as the issues of academic mobility of students were discussed.
