«TURKSOY» SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDING

Al-Farabi KazNU held a ceremony for awarding scholarships of international organization «TURKSOY» to students of 1-3 courses of Department of TURKSOY, Faculty of Oriental Studies.

At the beginning of the event, Askar Turganbai, the representative of the organization in Kazakhstan welcomed the participants on behalf of the Secretary General of the TURKSOY International Organization Duysen Kaseinov. In his speech, Duysen Kaseinov highlighted that TURKSOY has been a reliable partner of Al-Farabi KazNU since 2015. This year, the organization allocated a scholarship to the best students of the Department, the total amount of which is 1 million tenge.

The Rector of KazNU, academician Galym Mutanov, on behalf of the University staff, expressed his gratitude to the Secretary General of TURKSOY Dyusen Kaseinov for his contribution to the development of historical and cultural continuity between the Turkic peoples in the era of globalization, constant cooperation with the University and the award of a special scholarship to stimulate students.

Aigerim Toyboldy, the 3rd year student, spoke on behalf of the her fellow students, thanking the TURKSOY international organization for generosity and good deeds, and the leadership of Al-Farabi KazNU for the opportunity to get a quality education.
