TRAINING IN JOURNALISM FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN

 The Department of Press and Electronic Media organized a three-day journalism course for schoolchildren, which opened up new opportunities for children in a prestigious and respected profession.

Aikerim Alimzhanova, a student at the Faculty of Journalism, conducted a master class on multimedia technologies for students of boarding schools with in-depth study of the Kazakh language and literature. During the meeting, students received answers to key questions, learned about the benefits of an SMM specialist and the social significance of the website portals.

Workshops on the basics of television journalism were organized for students of the Abai Republican boarding school with in-depth study of the Kazakh language and literature. Pupils learned a lot of interesting new information, and received comprehensive answers to various questions.

Ph.D. Altyn Akynbekova and senior teacher, laureate of the Serper and Shabyt awards, Bauyrzhan Alikozha conducted classes on organizing an interview: «Live broadcast» and «Interview Methods» for students of 10th grade of the Republican boarding school with in-depth study of the Kazakh language and literature. Pupils of 10th, 11th grades were keenly interested in professional moments, and specialists willingly shared information with them.

Such meetings help students to navigate the vast range of existing professions and make the only right choice for their future path.
