Al-Farabi's Legacy is the Basis for Future Generations Development

Al-Farabi KazNU has hosted an international scientific-methodical online seminar «The context of culture, language and literature devoted to the philosophy of Al-Farabi» dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the great scholar. The event was organized by the Department of General Linguistics and European Languages ​​within the XXIII «Akhanov Readings». The seminar was attended by specialists from Almaty, Taraz, London and Istanbul.

The participants of the meeting highlighted that the works of the great scientist highly contributes to the development of the humankind as an individual and a professional, and his works will be transferred from generation to generation for centuries. It was also noted that it is difficult to assess the importance of such events dedicated to the legacy of Al-Farabi, and that even the scientific audience should be sufficiently aware of the works and achievements of the great compatriot of Kazakhstan. During the seminar, the speakers also presented interesting projects on various topics related to modern linguistics. All the participants were pleased with the high level of education and innovative ideas of undergraduates.
