DISCUSSED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

An online meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Al-Farabi KazNU, at which they discussed the development of educational programs for the new academic year, as well as the development of the direction of international projects.

Member of the Management Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs F.N. Zhakypova made a detailed report on the development of educational programs (EP) for the new academic year. To date, 113 new programs have been registered in the register of the Bologna Process Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the 2021 - 2022 academic year, of which: 19 for bachelor's, 63 for master's, 31 for doctoral studies. Work on the creation of educational programs continues. According to the speaker, the process takes into account the main requirements: compliance with Kazakhstani and international trends and challenges, interdisciplinarity and focus on improving the quality of education and the competitiveness of the university.

The faculties have also launched activities aimed at developing high-quality, competitive educational programs. The list of such events includes: meetings with employers in order to determine the list of graduates 'competencies, the creation of authors' teams for the development of EP, their design and development, as well as approval by the academic council of the faculty.

The meeting participants discussed the current issues of work on the development of the EP. As a result, it was decided that all deans, by May 7, 2021, complete the development of educational programs for inclusion in the Register of the Center for the Bologna Process, as well as revise admission plans for the 2021/2022 academic year. taking into account the new OP. In the period from May to August of this year, organize vocational guidance work to form the contingent for the new academic year; form working groups for accreditation and appoint responsible persons for the preparation of reports.

The methodological councils were instructed to complete the introduction of new educational programs and update the existing ones in the Register of the OP of the Center for the Bologna Process of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan until May 15, the Department of Scientific and Innovative Activities, together with the releasing departments, to work out the possibility of forming dissertation councils, taking into account the new educational programs of doctoral studies, until May 25.

Further on the state of international educational projects and programs, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation A.B. Smailov. Currently, the university is implementing a number of international projects. This area is actively developing and has great prospects. The speaker presented the full range of programs in her presentation. The most famous of them is Erasmus +, a program of the European Union aimed at supporting joint projects, academic mobility and youth policy for the implementation of mobility of teaching staff and students. Within the framework of this program alone, 39 joint projects have been implemented with universities in Spain, France, Romania, Turkey, Lithuania, Great Britain, Poland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Austria, Latvia, Slovenia, etc.

Of great interest are such international programs as: "Abay-Vern" (France), "Mevlana" and "Orhun" (Turkey), LAESTE (EC), FLAGMAN (USA).

The direction "Scientific and educational projects Erasmus + PPVO (increasing the potential of higher education)" is also being implemented, within the framework of which a large number of projects of various directions are being implemented.

The direction of international educational programs and projects is firmly on the rails, developing and bearing fruit. But there are a number of issues that need to be worked out. In conclusion, the speaker presented a draft solution to these problems - in detail on each issue, which was discussed by the meeting participants.
