ALLEY NAMED AFTER ELBASY OPENED IN THE KAZNU

Today in the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the "Elbasy Park" was opened. About 300 seedlings of apple, cherry, apricot, plum trees were planted in the tree alley in honor of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During one of his visits to KazNU named after al-Farabi The first president of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev noted: "The Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi is the vanguard of education and science of the new Kazakhstan." Elbasy expressed the hope that the country's national universities, headed by KazNU, will become competitive and receive international recognition. The First President also emphasized that many qualified specialists, talented scientists and teachers who graduated from KazNU work in the system of republican administration.

President Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev in his program article “Independence is the most precious thing” said: “This year marks the 30th anniversary of our independence. This is an important milestone in the history of the revived Kazakh state, the foundation of freedom that our ancestors aspired to. We have achieved these successes thanks to the competent leadership of the President, the wisdom of our people, unity and solidarity, the hard work of our compatriots. "

That is why, within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, the leadership of the flagship of science and education - KazNU - decided to present a special gift to the First President of Elbasy. Observing all the conditions of quarantine measures, the workers planted an alley in the park of fruit trees, taking into account all agrotechnical standards.

It should be noted that since the beginning of spring about 300 seedlings of Crimean and Altai pines have been planted in the course of work on the improvement of the campus. On the Day of Science Workers, 100 seedlings of an apple-tree of the Sivers variety were planted on the campus of the university, which was noted in the article by Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev as one of the seven faces of the Great Steppe. The plot of fruit trees was named the "Garden of Scientists".

In order to improve the campus and the building, further planting of fruit trees is planned.
