THE RECTOR MEETS THE OLYMPIC CHAMPION

The Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Olympic champion Dmitry Balandin.

The winner of the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, visited his alma mater and shared his plans for the future.

The head of the university, Zhaiseit Tuimebayev, spoke about the upcoming joint work and invited the master of sports to use his experience and potential at the university obtained abroad.

In turn, the swimming champion expressed his readiness to invite strong coaches and prepare future Olympic medalists, as well as to create a swimming school for D. Balandin, using the resources of the pool named after him.
