CHILDHOOD HOLIDAY

June 1 - the military department of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi and the trade union of workers of the KazNU named after al-Farabi "Parasat", for the children of the university employees, a "Childhood Holiday" was held to commemorate the International Children's Day.

The holiday was opened by the chairman of the trade union "Parasat" of workers of KazNU Talgat Mekebaev and the head of the military department of KazNU named after al-Farabi, Colonel Oleg Azhimov.

In the solemn part of the holiday, students of the military department performed in front of the children with a concert program that includes children's songs, humorous numbers and joint performance of famous songs. The program of the holiday was decorated with performances by animators about the world of fairy tales. During the holiday, children took part in various competitions: "Drawing on the pavement", "Sharp shooter!", "Guess the fairy tale!". High school students took part in the historical quiz "My Motherland Kazakhstan!"

Despite the hot day, the fun was in full swing! Only 91 people took part in the competition of drawing on asphalt. There were many who wanted to tell a poem or sing a song. In an interactive laser shooting range, older children fired from various types of small arms, disassembled and assembled a machine gun. The guests of the holiday were greatly interested in the exhibition of small arms samples, simulators for anti-aircraft gunners and mechanics of BMP drivers.

According to the results of all competitions and quizzes, each participant received a certificate and a commemorative prize. It should be noted that holding such events significantly contributes to the upbringing of the younger generation of our youth in the spirit of Kazakhstani patriotism, strengthening friendship and love for the Motherland!

Great interest was aroused by the drawing competition dedicated to the Children's Day and the 30th anniversary of Independence "My Motherland - Kazakhstan". The competition was held online, the drawings were posted on the trade union page on Instagram. Within two weeks, you could vote for your favorite drawing. Some of the contestants have received more than a thousand views. The winners were determined by the number of likes and comments. In total, 180 drawings were submitted for the competition in three age categories. At the same time, the smallest participant was three years old. The winners were awarded with prizes and diplomas from the Parasat Trade Union. All children received gifts for their participation.
