MEASURES AGAINST COVID HARDEN
8/4/2021At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students and teaching staff are actively involved in informational work on the organization of vaccinations among civil servants.
During the day, audio messages about the need for mass vaccination are broadcast in the KazNU town. Only through mass vaccination can the process of returning to normal life be accelerated. Advocacy materials, banners, brochures are widely distributed on vaccination issues. Special videos are posted on social networks, screens are installed in buildings, where video clips are shown with a call for vaccination.
Online briefings are held for the teaching staff with the participation of scientists, medical professionals, epidemiologists. In addition, the teachers of the Higher School of Public Health constantly go to social networks, and answer questions from residents on the air. People can familiarize themselves with vaccination news on the university website in the "COVID-19" application. Regulatory documents, questions and answers, monitoring, video materials are widely covered here. On vaccination issues, university students work in the regions together with akimats. The Youth Organizations Committee participates in outreach activities through social networks TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram.
As previously reported, at the university 50% of the teaching staff, 44% of employees, 22% of students were vaccinated. Under the campaign to stimulate vaccination against coronavirus, 40 teachers and students received free tickets to a health camp on the coast of Issyk-Kul; applicants for doctoral studies to pass the TOEFL certification exam were given a free intensive course; the teaching staff and support staff of various levels were provided with social support (material assistance, accommodation in a hostel for employees, valuable gifts and incentives). Other types of incentives will be considered in the future.
