PREPARATION FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR EXPLAINED

On the eve of the new academic year, the leadership of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University met with students online. On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during the meeting, issues of preparation for the new academic season were discussed.

Students were explained the rules of the educational process, which will be carried out in accordance with the new requirements regarding the sanitary and epidemiological situation.

It is expected that in the new academic year, access to all educational buildings and buildings will pass through the open Ashyk application. The university strictly enforces mask-wearing and social distancing measures. In addition, buildings are being retrofitted with sanitizers, disinfection arches, thermal imagers, and boxes for used masks. As it was said, the occupancy rate of classrooms and gyms will be 50%, and the time of classes and breaks will be regulated by a special schedule.

Also, the administration of the university provided detailed answers to questions from students and parents on the topics of vaccination, the procedure for providing hostels, teaching young people under 18, and also shared relevant information.

Tomorrow, the deans of the faculties will continue to work on explaining the requirements of the new academic year to students.
