The team of KazNU named after Al-Farabi discussed the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Zh. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "The unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid basis for the country's prosperity."

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted the importance of the Address voiced on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, which defines the country's further development strategy. Touching upon the main issues of education and science, he noted that the Address carries new tasks, increasing the responsibility of those involved in these areas. The head of state instructed to strengthen the position of the country's higher educational institutions in international and national ratings, to implement the tasks related to the adaptation of curricula in new conditions, the training of high-quality personnel, digitalization, and the development of science, which were announced in the Address.

Fatima Zhakypova, member of the board-vice-rector for academic affairs of KazNU, spoke about the features of the traditional format of training. Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies Baydaulet Urmashev shared his opinion on improving the quality of information systems.
