NEW DEANS TAKE OVER

In the NJSC "KazNU named after Al-Farabi" a competition was held to fill the vacant positions of deans and heads of departments at some faculties. According to the results of the competition, by the decision of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the NJSC "Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi" Zh. Tuimebayev, on the basis of the recommendations of the competition committee, the applicants were approved for the positions:

 

  • • Dauren Bakytbekovich Zhakebaev, PhD, Professor - Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics
  • • Daulet Laikovich Baydeldinov, Doctor of Law, Professor - Dean of the Faculty of Law
  • • Sansyzbay Sharapievich Madiev, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Journalism
  • • Leila Abdrashevna Bimendieva, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor - Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business
  • • Bekzhan Berikbaevich Meirbaev, Ph.D., Associate Professor - Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science.

Also, a competition was held to fill the vacant posts of heads of departments. The competitive commission of the university considered the candidates on the basis of the "Rules for the competitive replacement of positions of the teaching staff and scientific workers", approved by the Board of Directors of Al-Farabi KazNU on June 16, 2021. 26 applicants who passed the competitive selection were accepted for the position of "heads of departments":
