"KAZYGURT STORIES" PRESENTED IN TURKEY

Within the framework of the XVI International Book Exhibition in Ankara, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey, with the support of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, a presentation of the book of the laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash" and Mahmut Kashgari, writer Nurgali Oraz "Kazygurt history ”, translated into Turkish.

The preface to the collection was written by the head of the university Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuymebayev, dwelling in detail on the contribution of the graduate and employee of KazNU Nurgali Oraz to Kazakh literature and his author's style.

In the foreword, Zhanseit Tuymebayev emphasized that literary giants like M. Auezov, Z. Kabdolov, M. Karataev once studied and worked within the walls of the university, creating their own school. The influence of this unique school is fully reflected in the work of the writer Nurgali Oraz.

“Significant works of the writer were published after the country gained sovereignty. They clearly reflect the organic synthesis of socio-philosophical and aesthetic searches of the time. Devotion to creativity, unique style, variety of characters, depth of thought and perfection of language are the main criteria of the writer Nurgali Oraz.

The collection of stories "Kazygurt stories", translated into Turkish, will undoubtedly contribute to the convergence of literary ties of kindred peoples, "Zhanseit Tuymebayev noted.

At the presentation of the new collection in Ankara, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Abzal Saparbekovich expressed confidence that on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence, the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, the works "The Bird of Happiness", "The Only Island", "Kazakh Star in the Turkish Sky", "Nest white cranes "," Kazygurt stories ", included in the collection, will appeal to the Turkish reader. Chairman of the Union of Eurasian Writers Yakup Omeroglu, describing the historical and cultural significance of the work published in the publishing house Bengu headed by him, highly appreciated the creative handwriting of the writer who grew up in the foothills of Kazygurt.

Member of the Board of the Union of Writers of Eurasia, one of the translators of the book, Zhamila Kynazhi made a presentation on the genre features and style of Kazakh literature, familiarized in detail with the artistic tasks that the writer solved in each of his works. In turn, the writer Nurgali Oraz expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event for the fact that earlier some stories were translated into Turkish and for the first time published as a separate book. In conclusion, Ambassador Abzal Saparbekovich thanked the writer Nurgali Oraz, the chairman of the Union of Eurasian Writers Yakup Omeroglu, translators Malik Otarbayev, Zhamil Kynazhi, Ashur Ozdemir and handed over the posters of thanks.
